The kitchen area is perfectly equipped to help you savour Laurence's traditional cuisine composed of copious and tasty dishes such as stuffed veal, pot-au-feu, traditional "garbure", and home made jams and pastries. You will appreciate the honey of Avajan with tarts and other croustades evoking flavours from the past.
You may ask Laurence to make you a hamper for a mountainside picnic or a special meal (allergies, parties, special diets, or gourmet). She is easily convinced by a smile ! Young children are most certainly welcome.
A Place to Relax
The garden, (currently under construction with work recommencing in spring, as governed by life in the mountains and the beautiful winter), the large living area on the ground floor, and the landing on the first floor are all distinct areas available for guests to find quiet solitude, or to relax together with friends. A library, hi-fi and TV area, and games for young and old are also at your disposal.
